Zapečené Těstoviny se Šunkou
Baked pasta with ham and cheese, a comforting dish enjoyed in many Czech households.
Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta
- 8 oz ham
- 2 cups cheese
- 1 cup cream
- 1 medium onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons parsley

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente (usually about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes until the onion is translucent.

Add the diced ham to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ham mixture, cream, salt, pepper, and half of the cheese. Mix well to combine.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Top with the remaining cheese.

Sprinkle chopped parsley on top for garnish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
