- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup quark
- 2 tablespoons chives
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the sourdough bread slices on a baking sheet and lightly drizzle with olive oil.

Toast the sourdough bread in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

While the bread is toasting, prepare the quark mixture. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of quark, 2 tablespoons of finely chopped chives, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
