Instructions
- 1
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- 2
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, celery salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Place the seasoned wings on the smoker racks, ensuring they are not touching each other. Smoke the wings for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- 4
While the wings are smoking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5
Once the wings are done smoking, increase the smoker temperature to 375°F (190°C) and cook the wings for an additional 15-20 minutes to crisp them up.
- 6
Remove the wings from the smoker and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
- 7
Serve the smoked chicken wings hot with fresh celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
