Instructions
- 1
Rinse the fresh fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- 2
Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Dredge each fish fillet in the flour, shaking off excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Carefully add the breaded fish fillets to the hot oil, cooking in batches if necessary. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Once cooked, transfer the fried fish to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 7
While the fish is resting, cut the lemon into wedges and chop the parsley.
- 8
Serve the crispy fried fish hot with tartar sauce on the side, garnished with lemon wedges and sprinkled with parsley.
