
Roasted Pear & Hazelnut Crumble with Oat Topping
Warm roasted pears topped with a crunchy oat and hazelnut crumble, perfect for a cozy dessert.
Ingredients
- 4 medium ripe pears
- 1 cup hazelnuts
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the pears by peeling, coring, and slicing them into wedges. In a large bowl, toss the pear wedges with lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of coconut oil over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the oats, hazelnuts, remaining coconut sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

In a baking dish, spread the pear mixture evenly across the bottom. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup.

Sprinkle the oat and hazelnut mixture evenly over the pears.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the topping is golden brown.
