Porridge with Honey and Berries
A warm and comforting bowl of porridge topped with honey and fresh berries for a wholesome start to your day.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once boiling, stir in 1 cup of rolled oats. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After 5 minutes, add 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the oats. Stir well and continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the porridge reaches your desired consistency.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of butter for added creaminess.

Divide the porridge into two bowls. Drizzle each bowl with 1 tablespoon of honey and top with 1 cup of mixed fresh berries.
