Müsli - Traditional German Muesli
A wholesome mix of oats, nuts, and dried fruits soaked in yogurt or milk, perfect for a quick breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup mixed nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
- 1 cup dried fruits (e.g., raisins, apricots)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh fruit (e.g., banana, berries)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of rolled oats and 1 cup of yogurt. Stir well to ensure the oats are fully coated.

Add 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the oat mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Chop 1 cup of mixed nuts and 1 cup of dried fruits into smaller pieces if desired. Fold them into the oat mixture.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for the best flavor and texture.
