- 4 pieces bread rolls
- 8 ounces cheese
- 4 ounces ham
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons chives
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the cheese (shredded), diced ham, chopped chives, pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Slice each bread roll in half horizontally. Be careful not to cut all the way through; you want to create a pocket for the filling.

Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter inside each bread roll half.

Spoon the cheese and ham mixture generously into each bread roll pocket.

Place the filled rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
