Instructions
- 1
Remove the tri-tip steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- 3
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, rosemary, and thyme. Mix well.
- 4
Rub the olive oil mixture evenly over the tri-tip steak on all sides.
- 5
Place the tri-tip steak on the preheated grill. Grill for about 25-30 minutes, turning every 5-7 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
- 6
While the steak is grilling, prepare the garlic butter. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- 7
Add minced garlic and chopped parsley to the melted butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
- 8
Once the steak is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 9
Slice the tri-tip against the grain into thin slices.
- 10
Drizzle the garlic butter over the sliced steak and serve immediately.
