Instructions
- 1
In a small saucepan, melt 1 stick of butter over low heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- 2
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well to combine.
- 3
Place 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp in a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 4
While the shrimp is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- 5
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- 6
Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
- 7
Brush the grill grates with 2 tablespoons of olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the shrimp skewers on the grill.
- 8
Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.
- 9
Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- 10
Serve the grilled shrimp skewers with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
