Full English Breakfast with Sausages and Bacon

A hearty traditional English breakfast featuring sausages, bacon, eggs, and baked beans, perfect for starting your day.

Ingredients

  • 4 links pork sausages
  • 4 slices back bacon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (15 oz) baked beans
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 2 slices black pudding
  • 4 slices toast
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

    In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

    Add the pork sausages to the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

    While the sausages are cooking, prepare the back bacon. In another skillet, add the back bacon slices and cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until crispy, flipping once.

    In the same skillet used for the bacon, add the black pudding slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until heated through and slightly crispy.

    In a separate small saucepan, heat the baked beans over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    While the beans are heating, clean and slice the mushrooms. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet used for the bacon and black pudding, then sauté the mushrooms for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.

    Cut the tomatoes in half and add them to the skillet with the mushrooms. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are warmed through.

    In a small non-stick skillet, fry the eggs to your liking (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.) for about 3-5 minutes.

    While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread slices until golden brown.

    Once everything is cooked, plate the sausages, bacon, black pudding, sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, and eggs. Serve with toast on the side.
