
Frühstücksbrötchen mit Leberwurst
Fresh rolls topped with rich liver sausage, a classic German breakfast staple.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces fresh rolls
- 4 oz liver sausage
- 1 small onion
- 2 slices pickles
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- salt
- black pepper

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Slice the fresh rolls in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet.

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter evenly on the cut sides of the rolls.

Toast the rolls in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

While the rolls are toasting, finely chop the small onion and set aside.

Once the rolls are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Spread 2 ounces of liver sausage on each toasted roll half.

Top the liver sausage with chopped onions, 1 slice of pickle, and a drizzle of mustard.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve immediately while the rolls are warm.
