
Brambory na loupačku
Boiled potatoes served with a rich butter sauce and fresh herbs, a simple yet flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds potatoes
- 1 stick butter
- 1 bunch fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups water
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even-sized chunks (about 2 inches) for uniform cooking.

In a large pot, add 4 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once the water is boiling, add the potato chunks. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

While the potatoes are cooking, melt 1 stick of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Remove the butter from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and chopped fresh parsley (reserve some for garnish).

Once the potatoes are done cooking, drain them in a colander and return them to the pot. Pour the butter sauce over the potatoes and gently toss to coat.
