
Bourbon Glazed Chicken Wings
Crispy chicken wings tossed in a rich bourbon glaze, perfect for a smoky and sweet lunch treat.

- 3 pounds chicken wings
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 stalks green onions
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

In a large bowl, combine the bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight for more flavor).

After marinating, remove the wings from the marinade and let the excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for later use.

Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken wings and toss to coat. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

While the wings are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
