Bircher Müsli mit Früchten
A refreshing mix of oats, yogurt, and fresh fruits, ideal for a light breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups yogurt
- 2 medium apples
- 1 cup berries (mixed)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup nuts (chopped)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of rolled oats with 1 cup of milk. Stir well and let it soak for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.

While the oats are soaking, prepare the fruits. Core and dice 2 medium apples into small pieces, and wash 1 cup of mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries).

After the oats have soaked, add 2 cups of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the bowl. Mix well until everything is combined.

Fold in the diced apples and mixed berries gently to avoid bruising the fruits.

Serve the Bircher Müsli in bowls, and top each serving with 1 cup of chopped nuts for added crunch.
