
BBQ Chicken Thighs with Sweet Marinade
Grilled chicken thighs marinated in a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, perfect for a summer lunch.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 stalks green onions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of BBQ sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.

Place the 2 pounds of chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Discard the marinade.

Brush the grill grates with 1 tablespoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.
