Bacon Sandwich with Brown Sauce
A simple yet satisfying bacon sandwich, slathered with tangy brown sauce, perfect for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 slices bread
- 1 tablespoon brown sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 leaf optional: lettuce
- 1 slice optional: tomato

Instructions

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.

Add the 4 slices of bacon to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until crispy and golden brown.

While the bacon is cooking, toast the 2 slices of bread in a toaster or under a broiler until golden brown.

Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the skillet and place it on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt over low heat. Spread the melted butter on one side of each slice of toasted bread.

Assemble the sandwich by placing the crispy bacon on one slice of bread. Optionally, add a leaf of lettuce and a slice of tomato on top of the bacon.

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of brown sauce over the bacon (and optional vegetables).

Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side down. Press gently to hold the sandwich together.

Slice the sandwich in half, sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper, and serve immediately.
